Not what I was expecting to hear in terms of complications along with phenylbutazone and omeprazole administered concurrently.... I have given omeprazole at the same time when NSAIDs have been given long term. Maybe a better strategy would be start omeprazole before or after NSAID treatment? OR sucralfate might be a different option to consider?
