The AAEP New Practitioners Symposium is a new event designed specifically for practitioners in their first 5 years of practice. Along with hands-on wet labs and conversations with experts, attendees will be able to network with their peers and develop long-term support systems.
The New Practitioners Symposium is a hybrid event. The emphasis on this meeting will be the hands-on honing of practical skills during the February event. The Symposium will use a “flipped classroom” model in which attendees refresh their foundational knowledge by completing relevant instructional material online, at home or office, prior to the event, so that in-person time is devoted to experiential learning through skills application and analysis.

Yes and no. The on-demand portion of the Symposium will be available to you one month before the live sessions, and you can visit those at your convenience. You'll attend the live sessions during their scheduled times, of course, on February 19-20, 2022
We expect you to watch the on-demand sessions and study the resources before you arrive for the hands-on sessions in Florida.
At the end of the live sessions, you'll receive a CE certificate for 10 credits.
Yes. The New Practitioners Symposium is open to AAEP members who graduated from veterinary school between the years of 2017-2021.
